Steve Franklin
Chief of Sales and New Business Development Officer
Wells Real Estate Funds, Inc.
Steve Franklin, Ph.D., is Chief of Sales and New Business Development
Officer for Wells Real Estate Funds. He oversees sales and broker/dealer
relations as well as education and training through Wells University.
Prior to joining Wells, Steve was President of EduTrek International,
a publicly traded firm and the parent company of American Inter-
Continental University. In his role as Associate Dean and tenured
Professor for the Goizueta Business School at Emory University, he
managed all executive education programs. He also served as Executive
Vice President and National Sales Manager for the Atlanta-based Financial
Services Corporation (FSC). He was instrumental in growing FSC into the
second-largest independent financial planning broker/dealer in the
United States.
A licensed real estate broker, Steve also holds Series 7 and 63 registrations
with Wells Investment Securities, Inc., and is a member of the Financial
Planning Association. He serves on the international editorial review
board of the Journal of Management Development, and he is a member of
the Board of Regents for Oxford University¿s Harris Manchester College
in England. In addition to co-authoring two management textbooks, Steve
and his research have been highlighted in numerous professional journals,
business radio, and television, including CNN.
