CORPORATE CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Bob McCullough is Corporate Chief Financial Officer for Wells Real Estate Funds. Working with a team of more than 60 financial professionals, his primary responsibilities include finance, treasury, corporate accounting, and financial analysis. Mr. McCullough also oversees the operations of the Wells Capital transfer agent. Mr. McCullough is responsible for strategic financial planning for Wells and the various real estate investment programs that the company sponsors. Additionally, Mr. McCullough is involved in the development of new distribution channels for Wells, as well as products targeted to these channels. He fills several additional strategic roles for Wells, including Vice President of Wells Management Company, and Assistant Treasurer and Financial and Operations Principal for Wells Investment Securities, Inc., an affiliated U.S. broker/dealer. He is assistant treasurer and a member of the board of directors of the Wells Political Action Committee.
Mr. McCullough joined Wells in 2002 as a Senior Analyst and has since filled increasingly responsible roles for the company in the area of strategic financial planning, most recently as Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller. Throughout his time with Wells, he has helped to improve financial efficiencies, systems, and processes, and has provided strategic financial direction for Wells and its investment products.
Mr. McCullough came to Wells from Andersen LLP, where he served in the Assurance and Business Advisory Services group. Some of his clients included Delta Air Lines, Southern Company, and NSI.
Mr. McCullough holds a bachelor's in Psychology from Vanderbilt University and a Master's of Business Administration in Accounting from Georgia State University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Georgia Society of CPAs. He represents Wells on the Nontraded REIT Committee and the Financial Standards Sub-Committee of the Investment Program Association (IPA), a leading industry association focused on the U.S. Direct Participation Program market.
