This program creates an energy profile that allows Wells to compare its portfolio to buildings across the country. Over 80% of our ENERGY STAR-rated buildings exceed the national average.
- USGBC® Membership: Wells demonstrates our commitment to sustainability with our membership in the U.S. Green Building Council, the nation’s foremost coalition of leaders dedicated to transforming the way buildings are designed, built, and operated.
- LEED Certification: We currently have approximately 15 LEED-certified buildings and are actively pursuing certification on a number of other properties.
Construction Management
Our project managers have overseen more than $23 million in capital projects, including the multimillion-dollar installation of double-deck elevators in a landmark Chicago building. We also perform proactive maintenance to preserve and extend the useful life expectancies of building systems.
State-of-the-Art Systems
We offer an online work order system that allows us to quickly place work order requests and track the status of those requests. The system is fully integrated with our accounting system to ensure that all activity and expenses are accurately documented.

Our finance team has a thorough knowledge of the rigorous reporting requirements mandated by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 (SOX). Experienced Personnel
Our property managers average 17 years of industry experience, while our leadership team averages over
22 years of experience in managing commercial real estate. In just three years our leadership team established property management offices in 13 cities and hired more than 80 property management professionals. The majority of our managers hold at least one of the following industry designations: CCIM, LEED AP, CPM, FMA, RPA, and/or SMA, and are actively involved in industry associations.
